A Holiday season of celebrations with family, food and festivities. Dec 20th, I flew to Buffalo, NY, meeting up with my siblings (Andy, Mary and John) to celebrate our Dad’s 90th birthday on Dec 22. He booked his own dinner party, chocolate cake and all! We had a great gathering of 20 relatives and friends. Dec 24, it was on to Denver for Christmas in Boulder (with Andy & Cheryl) where nephew Aaron and his beloved, Jamel, announced their wedding date and asked me to officiate! YAY!!! While I flew back to California on Dec 28, the newest member of our family was born to nephew Nate and his wife Niki, in Albuquerque. I am full to overflowing with gratitude for these blessed celebrations of Life and Love and Light!

Thankyou SO much for the great photos Lisa. I am particularly happy that you had some holiday time with Andy and Cheryl. Wow, that cake and the nutmeg bars look scrumptious . I don’t suppose you have recipes, ??? All the best wishes I can tease from the universe are yours for the coming year + huge HUGS, Love you a mountain, Bets
Knowing how much you treasure Mary Oliver I thought I would send you this treasure emailed to me by a dear friend, hoping you will be able to read it through your tears. It is from a site I am not familiar with. I will always remember when you were in the hospital and still carry guilt for not coming to you there. I was in Arizona visiting Wink and had a problem adjusting my ticket to include a flight to Denver and then back to Boston. Just Big stupidity on my part. Much Love to you dear Lis, Bets
